Plásticos Escanero researchs the production of biodegradable plastic

The recycling company Plasticos Escanero has signed a collaboration agreement with the Aragon Technological Institute (ITA) in order to research the production of biodegradable materials in their Sariñena (Huesca) recycling facilities.
As stated by the company manager, Angel Escanero, in recent declarations to Europa Press, the aim is the extrusion of organic materials , like wood, hay, wheat straw, barley, rice and other harvest remains, so that to create new products with industrial applications.
Plásticos Escanero starts building another plant in Sariñena

The company Plásticos Escanero started the construction works of a new extrusion facility in Sariñena, that would mean an investment of 1,8 M€ and an initial increase of 10 additional jobs.
The new factory, that covers an extension of 2500 square meters and is supposed to start running next September, will produce WPC (Wood Plastic Composite), a highly demanded material composed of plastic and wood. Specifically, the mixing will have 60% of organic materials, like wood, wheat straw, rice husk or other harvest remains obtained within Sariñena council, according to the company manager, Angel Escanero.
Reciclados Escanero extend their plant for an innovative plan
SARIÑENA.- The company Reciclados Escanero develops in Sariñena an innovative project that was given a great support after being declared of regional interest by the Government of Aragon. Moreover, this project includes an important ID (Investigation and Development) component that required the necessary agreements with investigation entities like the Aragonese Technological Institute (ITA) and the Industrial Technological Developing Center (CEDETI).
Company Awards Huesca 2011. Plásticos Escanero receives the Innovation Award.
Organized by the Instituto Aragones de Fomento (IAF) and Ceos-Cepyme, joined for the first time by the Chamber of Commerce, the award of the sixth edition of the Huesca Company Awards went to Becton Dickinson.
The manager of the plant, Javier Pardiño, highlighted the two vital aspects of the company which are their outstanding human team “real engine of the factory” and a managing team “well aware of what we need for tomorrow and how to prepare the company for that”
The Chief Executive Officer of Cabrero and Sons, Santiago Cabrero, received the award for the Business Career. In his speech he stresses that this price brings the necessary hope and commitment to keep the company within the professional path shown by their predecessors
